Apple began to allocate applications with a free trial period and subscriptions to a separate category. The corresponding section is called "Try it for free" and is already available in the App Store.
In the American online store at the time of writing, the section contained only four applications. In the Russian store, there is no such section in the App Store yet, however, one of the programs is still framed in a new style – this is 1Password. So, if you start to look for the program, under the main application there will be a separate button "Free trial period", it can also be found in the application card.
In the case of 1Password it is indicated that one month the service can be used for free, and then a fee of 249 rubles per month will be charged. It is noteworthy that this application has already offered a free trial period for a long time, but Apple decided to select this type of programs only now – apparently, to help in the development of subscription services.
Apple radically changed the design of the App Store in iOS 11. The application store has updated the search, application cards, and the developers have the opportunity to respond to user feedback.
