Despite the fact that the speed of iOS 11 distribution is much lower than in its time for iOS 10, more iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users decide to upgrade their devices. The latest statistics from December 4 posted Apple on its App Store page.
According to the company, iOS 11 is already installed on 59% of devices – for a month the share of the new operating system grew by 7%. At the same time, a third of users do not want to update and remain on iOS 10, while the rest of the devices, as a rule, just do not support the latest version of iOS.
If you compare the successes of the operating system with iOS 10, the latter was installed more than half the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch a month after the official release. Recently, Apple has noticeably multiplied with the release of updates, but they have little effect on the degree of distribution of iOS 11.
One of the reasons to update for American users is the support of the money transfer service Apple Pay Cash, which does not work on devices with an outdated version of the operating system.
