It's been over a month since the launch of iPhone X sales around the world, and it's already possible to sum up some results and answer the question: "Has it flown up"? Fresh data from IHS Markit allowed to look at the situation from another angle.
According to analysts, over the three weeks of sales, the iPhone X won two percent of the iPhone's active user base, with the smartphone most widely distributed in countries with the highest GDP – Singapore, Denmark, Switzerland and Japan.
It is noteworthy that in many countries the iPhone X proved to be more popular than the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 Plus, if we look at the exponent for the first three weeks after the start of sales. So, in the US iPhone X won as many users as the iPhone 8 Plus, while bypassing other smartphones from Apple. A similar situation can be traced in Japan and Switzerland.
Experts are confident that Apple is boldly going to the best year for the iPhone. Sales of smartphones are growing over the past four quarters, and following the results of the latter, the company can sell almost 89 million iPhones – this will be the highest figure in the history when the average price of a smartphone exceeds $ 700.
