In the next beta versions of iOS 11.3, new functions will appear, displaying the status of the battery and informing about the need for its servicing. The innovation will affect all models of the iPhone older than the iPhone 6, the AppleInsider.ru representatives told Apple.
New functions will be available in the "Settings" -> "Battery" section. In addition, users will have the opportunity to see if the power management feature, which first appeared in iOS 10.2.1, is enabled. Power management adjusts maximum performance and prevents unexpected discharge of the battery.
Apple has not just paid much attention to the battery – the company has developed new features due to the scandal with the artificial slowdown of iPhone performance. As a result, the cost of replacing batteries was reduced to $ 29, which did not prevent many users from filing lawsuits around the world against the corporation.
The debut beta build of iOS 11.3 became available last night. It includes an updated ARKit platform engine, support for iCloud Messages, new animoji, entries in the Health application and performance monitoring mode. Some of the innovations, such as business chats, will initially be available only to users from the United States.
