Apple plans to release a brand new iPhone 8 in September this year. The smartphone will have a "frameless" OLED display with a diagonal of 5.8 inches. This was reported by several analysts at the Barclays.
According to Bloomberg, it is not yet known how exactly the new smartphone will be called – iPhone 8, iPhone X or iPhone Pro. In addition, the smartphone will not be the main character of the September presentation: Apple will still update the iPhone 7, adding the cherished letter "S", and the iPhone 8 will release in limited quantities. Users will be able to receive a smartphone in just a few weeks.
This approach Apple already practiced with Apple Watch – then the clock was also introduced in September, and appeared on sale in just a few months. There is a possibility that in Cupertino (again by analogy with the clock) we decided to release a special version of the iPhone Edition, which will be limited.
Not much is known about the technical characteristics of the novelty: 5.8-inch OLED-display, which will occupy more than 90% of the front panel, built-in fingerprint scanner Touch ID, as well as wireless charging.
