It turned out that the display of the iPhone X is really better.

Apple recently released specifications for the display of the iPhone X, and it turned out that only the display of this model supports HDR technology. This caused confusion for some Netflix users. In the information from the content provider, all three of the new iPhone are compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Apple explained this situation for Mashable as follows:

Users of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be able to see improvements in dynamic range, contrast and color gamut when playing content from Dolby Vision and HDR 10 from the respective content providers, but they will not provide the visual accuracy of the HDR as it is will be on the HDR display of the iPhone X.
