Manufacturers are constantly releasing new helmets and gadgets, so that first of all players could not simply observe what is happening on the screen, but become part of the game itself . And in this they are helped by modern high-tech accessories.

For example, Oculus Rift is one of the most popular headsets for virtual reality. The helmet does offer a quality virtual reality for a reasonable price. The resolution of the matrix at 2160 by 1200 pixels allows you to output a clear stereoscopic image of 1080 by 1200 pixels for each eye, and the picture will be updated at a frequency of 90 Hz, which minimizes the dizziness and nausea caused by the blurred image during movements of your head. The horizontal viewing angle exceeds 90 degrees, diagonally the angle is 110 degrees. Built-in headphones allow you to experience a three-dimensional sound, which is critically important for full immersion in VR.

Or here is the Vive headset from HTC and Valve. In terms of technical characteristics, it is very much like what Oculus Rift developers offer us. This allows the user to comfortably run and jump in the headset on an area of ​​4.5 to 4.5 square meters. The main thing is not to get lost in the wires. An important difference from competitors is the presence in the Vive headset of the built-in front camera.

A simple and budgetary solution in which you can put even your iPhone – Google Cardboard. The helmet of virtual reality, of course, can not be called, but the games for Cardboard are developed on iOS and Android. All the more that you need to do after the assembly, – download the necessary applications on the iPhone and insert the smartphone into a special hole. In applications for Cardboard, the screen is divided in half – thus, each eye focuses on its own image using lenses.

In general, the scope of virtual reality is very promising, especially if you turn from its consumer into a "creator". Developing games for her is not so easy, but if you show due diligence, then everything will turn out. Of course, the development of games for accessories like Google Cardboard and Fibrum is slightly easier, because it is a more mobile theme than desktop, but you can just become a specialist in both industries in half a year.
